For the Sega mascot competition I bring you rocket-boy, he has super agility, super strength and can fly with rocket boots and has the colours of the sega logo.

Submission for SEGA's mascot design contest. Fun. Energy. Future. Japan. Those are some of the keywords that come to mind when thinking of SEGA. With this design, I tryied to incorporate these ideas - an fun loving character full of energy, with a furturistic design, but also drawing inspiration from traditional japanese clothing. The iconic blue and whith colortheme of the SEGA logo complete the design. Furthermore, it was important to make an character that is neither distinctively male nor female, as both geneders enjoy SEGA's games, and should therefore be represented.

Kiwa is a new heroine I designed for the SEGA Raw mascot contest, and her outfit shares the same color (blue) as SEGA's logo. Kiwa is a young spotted hyena who was born and raised in the savannah. Even as the leader of her clan, she prefers to work alone most of the time, but will always have the urge to protect her family and friends. She specializes in superhuman strength and muscle that allows her to move objects and defeat worthy opponents.

Nam Tam is derived from the words “numb thumb” which is often the result of playing fun Sega games for hours. Nam Tam is an expressive and happy hand, always ready to help and play fun games. Nam Tam usually gets a dimple on his thumb after playing video games.

He can fly with rocket boots, has super speed, super strength and super agility. And has the colours of sega white and blue. Enjoy
